Although Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach has a few puzzles throughout its runtime, none are more frustrating than the one found in the back of Mazercise. You'll need to solve it to fight Monty Gator and steal his claws during his route at 04:00 AM, meaning it's essential to anyone who took that path or is aiming to unlock the true ending.

So, for those struggling to reach Monty's boss fight arena, here's how to solve the Mazercise puzzle and escape through the vent concealed within it.

After securing the Mazercise Pass from Monty Golf and the Mazercise key from Daycare (if you need either, check out IGN's 04:00 AM Walkthrough for help getting them), it's time to get the Mazercise puzzle out of the way. Head to Mazercise and log your progress in the room next to the yellow lockers in the back corridor. Now, turn your attention to the large metal panel positioned behind you.

To be frank, Mazercise can be very frustrating, not only because it's hard to tell which way to move the walls but also because pressing the buttons on the panel is finicky and you'll often hit the wrong one. The main objective is to move the walls within the maze so that you can access the vent in the back left-hand corner of the area. You can check to see exactly what's changed each time via the cameras.

To do that, you need to press the 10 buttons on the panel to move the walls and move the lever on the right-hand side to switch the walls' movement from horizontal to vertical.

Now, the main thing to know about the maze is there's one specific piece that makes it all fit. Although the game tells you it's the blue piece, it's not. It's the green piece circled above. Your real aim in this puzzle is to move the green piece to the vent as it's the only wall you can use to access it.

To do that, you'll have to shift the piece horizontally and vertically. It's wise to think of the room like a grid. The top row of buttons works as the vertical axis and the bottom row works as the horizontal axis.

Once you figure out which buttons move which pieces of the grid, you'll be able to mix and match walls to create a path. Each button will move its corresponding pieces five times. What that means is if you press the wrong button, press it a further four times to reset back to where you were prior.

Here's a route that will get you to the vent quickly if you need it:

Press button 4 on the bottom row 4 times. Use the lever. Hit button 3 on the bottom row two times. Use the lever. Press button 1 on the top row two times. Use the lever. Hit button 2 on the bottom row once. Use the lever. Press button 2 on the bottom row once. The vent will now be accessible.

Once you've completed the puzzle, head through the vent and prepare for your boss fight with Monty Gator.
